Future-oriented and practical: RiskPlus development in dialogue with the industry
Good software needs a clear product vision and continuous synchronisation with practice. At RiskPlus, in-depth expert knowledge of the requirements of the water supply industry forms the basis. Customer feedback sharpens and supplements this basis so that the product is not only technically well thought out, but also really effective in everyday working life.
But how can this harmonisation be implemented in practice? How does the experience gained from day-to-day water supply operations flow into a software product? At Disy, we have established several ways of doing this that are deliberately interlinked.
Feedback that gets through
The most direct channel is provided by our support team: information on functions that require explanation is incorporated directly into simplifications - but information on particularly tried-and-tested features is also incorporated into product development. This is supplemented by regular surveys, which we use to record in a structured manner where RiskPlus is convincing in practice and where there is room for improvement. Customers also have the opportunity to make suggestions in direct dialogue with our sales staff - these are processed and systematically passed on.
The Customer Lab: feedback on a new level
The Customer Lab is particularly close to our hearts. We gather in-depth feedback in a structured way from a dedicated group of customers and partners: Participants report on their day-to-day work with RiskPlus - what works, what is missing, what does not meet expectations. In addition, new functions can be trialled and commented on in advance before they are available to all users. In this way, practical experience flows directly back into the product, not as a one-way flow of information, but as a genuine exchange.
What this means for RiskPlus
Customer feedback is important as it helps to sharpen functions and ensure that they work in practice. The Upcoming features, which specifically address the risk management requirements of the TrinkwV, are the result of precisely this interplay: technical expertise meets practical experience.
