SHAPTH and RiskPlus: a strong duo
SHAPTH is a nationwide standard for digital data exchange in drinking water hygiene - a joint project of all 16 federal states. The basis is the standardised data format XWater, which will replace the previous, highly fragmented state solutions in the long term. For RiskPlus users, this means a reliable, standardised database - regardless of the federal state in which they operate.
Standardised instead of fragmented
Instead of different formats, manual processing steps and error-prone conversions, SHAPTH will enable automated, seamless data transfer between laboratories, water suppliers and authorities in future. This means less effort for data maintenance - and more time for the actual risk analysis.
Direct added value for RiskPlus users
In future, analysis results can be automatically imported into RiskPlus - up-to-date, reliable and without manual input. Risks are recognised more quickly and trends are assessed more reliably. SHAPTH provides the data basis, RiskPlus the technical control - for well-founded decisions faster and more reliably than ever before.
SHAPTH should be mandatory across the board by 1 January 2027 at the latest. Now is the right time to prepare your own infrastructure for SHAPTH and plan the transition at an early stage.
