After the TrinkwEGV is before the TrinkwV - RiskPlus takes risk management further

Looking ahead: How RiskPlus is set to evolve

At the start of September, the time had finally come: RiskPlus Core was launched with its first risk management features in accordance with the TrinkwV. The first features to be introduced were the flowchart and asset master data.

Thanks to these features, RiskPlus Core understands the specific underlying structure of each water supply system and is therefore ideally equipped to handle any future developments.

Benefit from SHAPTH integration

SHAPTH establishes a nationwide standard for digital data exchange in the field of drinking water hygiene, supported by all 16 federal states and based on the standardised XWasser data format. SHAPTH is set to become mandatory nationwide by 1 January 2027 at the latest.

RiskPlus is planning to integrate SHAPTH as the next step in its development. Once integrated, all sampling points and components stored in SHAPTH can be transferred directly into RiskPlus. The advantage is that analysis data transferred via SHAPTH no longer needs to be imported separately into RiskPlus.

The SHAPTH integration forms the basis for the next stage in RiskPlus’s development: the visualisation of the water supply system within the integrated GIS. This makes it possible to show directly and visually how extraction facilities, waterworks, reservoirs and supply areas are interconnected. This gives utilities a comprehensive overview of the supply system without having to switch systems, and enables them to identify direct interrelationships.

RiskPlus is continuing to develop step by step – it remains an exciting journey.
