The 5th „Trace Substances in the Aquatic Environment“ congress will take place in Baden-Baden on 4 and 5 June 2025. The congress will bring together experts from water management, science, industry and authorities to discuss current challenges relating to trace substances in the water cycle - from PFAS and pharmaceutical residues to technical and strategic measures for reduction.
The focus here is on both technical solutions such as the 4th purification stage and source-related approaches to prevent discharges at an early stage and to strengthen environmental and health protection in the long term.
RiskPlus is represented in the programme with a specialist lecture:
On 5 June at 13:30, Sebastian Sturm from TZW: DVGW-Technologiezentrum Wasser will speak about the
„Implementation of the Drinking Water Catchment Areas Ordinance with the RiskPlus software solution, taking into account the topic of wastewater“. The article shows how modern software solutions such as RiskPlus can support the practical implementation of regulatory requirements and contribute to the reduction of trace substances.
