On 20 and 21 March, the Federal-Länder Working Group on Water (LAWA) held its regular meeting. One of the key results was the adoption of the next part of the implementation guidelines for the Drinking Water Catchment Area Ordinance (TrinkwEGV). This represents an important step towards standardised implementation of the ordinance at federal level.
For the first time, the newly published documents comprehensively describe the content that operators must include in their documentation as part of the hazard analysis and risk assessment. The requirements for the presentation of the investigation programme have also been specified - and now apply uniformly throughout Germany.
For operators, this means clarity and planning security - and with RiskPlus, a simple solution for implementation
For water suppliers, the new section of the implementation guidelines brings one thing above all: more clarity and reliable guidance when implementing the legal requirements. At the same time, however, the demands on documentation and reporting to the responsible authorities are also increasing.
RiskPlus was developed precisely for this use case, and all requirements can be fully met with the software solution in future. The integrated export function allows the required analyses to be generated at the click of a mouse and sent directly to the responsible authority.
Not only does this make digital documentation easier, it also makes it much more efficient - and the deadline of 12 November is no longer a daunting prospect for RiskPlus users.
RiskPlus makes it possible: comply with specifications, minimise costs - and keep everything under control.
