These four new functions now make RiskPlus even more efficient
Climate change, security of supply, anthropogenic pressures, cyber security and threats from physical attacks are placing increasing demands on the public drinking water supply. How water suppliers can adapt to these challenges will be discussed on 29 October 2026 at the conference „Resilience in the drinking water supply – Where will we be in 20 years’ time?”“ at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. The conference is organised by Stadtwerke Karlsruhe and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and is aimed in particular at staff from water supply companies, engineering firms, public authorities and universities.
The TZW: DVGW Water Technology Centre in Karlsruhe contributes several presentations on risk management. Sebastian Sturm (Head of the Water Supply Department, Head of the Risk Management Section) will discuss, amongst other things, the protection of drinking water catchment areas through risk management. Moritz Niethammer (Water Supply Department, Risk Management Section) also presents practical examples of how to manage anthropogenic pressures and risks.
RiskPlus, the solution developed by TZW and Disy for risk management in the water supply sector, fits perfectly into this technical context. If you would like to find out more, our experts would be happy to discuss this with you.
When: 29 October 2026
Where: Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Moltkestraße 30, 76133 Karlsruhe, Building B
