RiskPlus at the „Digital helpers in the water supply“ symposium in Neu-Ulm
On 24 February 2026, the „Digital helpers in the water supply“ symposium will take place at the Edwin-Scharff-Haus in Neu-Ulm. The one-day specialist event is being organised by the DVGW Regional Group Bavaria and the DVGW Regional Group Baden-Württemberg. It is aimed at specialists and managers from the municipal water supply sector who want to find out about current developments and practical digital solutions.
Everyone is talking about digitalisation in the water supply sector. At the same time, the question arises as to what this term actually means. Numerous digital tools and aids are currently being developed from different approaches that can be used in all areas of drinking water supply. The symposium picks up on this development and contributes to a successful entry into the world of digital tools in drinking water supply.
The focus is on the question of how digital solutions can specifically support processes in the water supply sector. In particular, new legal requirements - for example in the area of risk management and documentation and information obligations - are increasing the need for digital applications. At the same time, the variety of solutions for the planning, operation and monitoring of drinking water supplies is growing and requires practical orientation.
In addition to fundamental issues relating to digitalisation, the useful use of artificial intelligence and aspects of data security and data integrity in the critical infrastructure of water supply will be discussed. The aim is to show how digital tools can make everyday work easier, simplify processes and at the same time reliably support regulatory requirements.
RiskPlus will be represented at the symposium with a stand in the accompanying exhibition. The software solution for risk management in water supply - a joint development of TZW: DVGW-Technologiezentrum Wasser and Disy Informationssysteme GmbH - supports water suppliers in the safe and efficient implementation of current legal requirements. There will be an opportunity to find out about the possible applications of RiskPlus and to talk to the contact persons.
The symposium thus offers a compact opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about digital approaches in water supply, exchange experiences and learn about practical solutions in one day.
