Over 380 water suppliers use RiskPlus to fulfil the TrinkwEGV delivery deadline

The deadline for submitting the risk assessment of drinking water catchment areas in accordance with the Drinking Water Catchment Areas Ordinance (TrinkwEGV) was 12 November 2025. By this date, water supply companies had to submit their complete documentation - including the assessment of the catchment area - electronically to the competent authority.

Extensive requirements of the TrinkwEGV

The report to be submitted comprised numerous components: the delimitation of the catchment area, the results of the hazard analysis and risk assessment, the investigation programme and a summary presentation of the investigation results. A complex task that presented many companies with major challenges.
